Note to self - learn more about Typepad.

Apparently when you select a pre-designed layout it doesn't actually change some individual settings for you.

You have to change them yourself. 

Which kind of begs the question - why pick the pre-designed layout if you still have to change it all yourself anyway?

On the upside I did get to swear at Typepad.  In a nice way.  &^%$!  See?

That kind of made me feel a bit better.  Been wanting to do that for a.long.time.

my computer is having a bad day

So here's what happened.

I'm halfway through the second attempt to complete my Christmas Tour 2008 post and the computer crashes.

Again.

For the second time.

Which happened just after the first time.

Not sure if it's me or Typepad but it would seem that each time the auto-save kicks in everything just stops working.  I tried clicking on Save because I can save myself thankyouverymuch.  And then I was back at the sign-in page.

Needless to say the computer and I are not on speaking terms at the moment.
